As a film and digital wedding photographer for over a decade, my style is a blend of timeless, romantic editorial and photojournalistic candids. I carefully document and style beautiful details. I will always move my bride into the most luminous area. It is truly a complex art to masterfully create stunning wedding portraits while simultaneously being a keen observer and documenter of authentic moments.

At age 4, I was introduced to film photography when I joined my father in the film lab and watched fascinated as he developed film negatives. Despite my early introduction to travel and film photography, my path to becoming a professional photographer was an indirect one. I attended UCLA and received a dual degree in Political Science and Fine Arts. I then attended Northwestern Law School and practiced as an international corporate lawyer at some of the most prestigious firms in the world, including stints in Brazil, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Throughout this time, I couldn’t shake my love for photography and never gave up the hobby. Eventually, I came to the conclusion that life was too short to not spend it doing what you love and in 2012, I left my attorney job and Bonphotage Photography & Videography was born.

Working seamlessly with my hand-picked team of talented film photographers, videographers and content creators, we have captured over 1000 weddings in over 45 countries, including some of the most breathtaking locations around the world! We’re there to tell the authentic story of a couple’s wedding day and the journey they took to get there.

Our work has been published in numerous prestigious publications including Harper’s Bazaar, Martha Stewart, Vogue, The Knot, Style Me Pretty, New York Times, Wedding Sparrow, and Magnolia Rouge.

I wish I could give a 10- star rating! The pictures speak for themselves- I mean- they are STUNNING. But on top of that- Lynzie was so easy to communicate with, and very responsive during the whole process. She answered all our questions and was very professional, punctual, organized and reliable. We told her what we wanted- she did exactly that and then some. She did the homework ahead of our engagement shoot, so it was incredibly efficient.

Does Bonphotage offer destination wedding services?

Absolutely! Bonphotage is based in Chicago and Los Angeles but we love to travel! We have captured over 100 destination weddings across the USA and abroad and we are happy to customize a package to perfectly suit your specific destination wedding needs. Destination weddings require planning, detail, and a touch of wanderlust...and we love all those things. Whether it be Chicago, Paris, Tuscany or any other dreamy location, we would be honored to shoot your wedding.

What can you expect from Bonphotage on your wedding day?

The story of your wedding is unique and personal. On your wedding day, we will pay special attention to all of the details you've spent so long planning. We bring props to your wedding such as a beautiful hanger to hang your dress in front of a window, a variety of the Mrs. Box velvet heirloom boxes to beautifully display your wedding and engagement rings and a styling board from Heirloom Bindery to create beautiful vignettes. We are hybrid photographers which means we will use traditional medium-format film to capture stunning portraits and also digital photography in a photojournalistic fashion to best capture authentic, real emotions throughout the day.

We will move you in the most flattering and luminous lighting when you are getting ready. We will clean up your bridal suite to make sure the background is always clean and bright. We will go to your venue before the wedding and find the perfect location for family portraits and the first look. We will personally edit all of your images and never outsource to ensure you receive a final product representative of the Bonphotage brand. We won't make you pose in uncomfortable positions that don't feel like you. We will make you laugh and remind you that today is more than just your wedding day, it is the beginning of a beautiful marriage and every moment should be enjoyed.

Do you edit the photos?

Yes! All of the images you receive will be edited for color correctness and consistency.

Do you offer same-day content creation?

In additional to traditional videography, we are so excited to offer our clients authentic, unfiltered iPhone content that perfectly encapsulates the essence of your wedding day! This means that we will provide instant, high resolution video content delivered to you SAME DAY as we as a customized reel to captivate your audience! This service is available for couples and wedding industry professionals.

Do you capture LGBTQ weddings?

Bonphotage vows to serve each and every person regardless of age, sexual orientation, nationality, gender identity, skin color, or religion... in business and in life. You are valued. You are loved. Your story matters.

Does Bonphotage offer prints and albums?

We believe that digital files are important but there is no replacement for real, tangible prints. The biggest day of your life is worthy of a hardbound, flush-mount heirloom album which will be treasured and passed down for generations to come. All of our packages include true fine-art prints on archival paper delivered in a custom wooden box. Our brides swoon when they receive their beautiful heirloom albums (available in a variety of linen and leather combinations) and are able to relive their special day every time they open their book.

What is the investment?

Local wedding photography coverage (Chicago and Los Angeles) begins at $5,950. Wedding coverage ranges from 6-10 hours and most packages include an engagement session. Clients spend between $6,000-$10,000 on average for wedding photography.

Destination wedding photography coverage is custom priced. Please contact us for a custom quote.

Elopement and mid-week wedding coverage begins at $3,950.

Engagement sessions begin at $995.

Wedding videography begins at $3,950. Wedding videography coverage ranges from 6-10 hours and most packages include professional audio, drone, slow motion and 360 capability.

Content creation begins at $1,500 and includes same-day behind the scenes footage and customized reels featuring yourself in action.
