They wanted snow and they wanted art, so snow and art is what they got! This sweet couple studied art and history in college and so it was only fitting to choose the stunning Art Institute in Chicago for their engagement photos! With Bexy in town from England for the holidays and the perfect sunny, bright winter day, it was a perfect time for the shoot Amanda had planning for months! I had a lovely time with them at the Art museum and Millennium park and am looking forward to their wedding in 2018! Enjoy this sneak peak and congratulations you two!

Her kiddos had a great time running around and being playful at Milton Lee Olive Park (because candid photos are the best!)

Bonphotage Engagement Photography - Tricia + Chris

It is hard to believe it is November in Chicago. The sun is still shining, the weather is a perfect 70 degrees and the Autumn colors show no signs of stopping. This perfect backdrop was ideal to showcase the love between Tricia and Chris! This down to earth dup had a great time taking in the orange and yellow hues at Milton Lee Olive Park and even digging their toes in the sand for some beachside golden hour goodness!

Tricia and Chris are tying the knot next year at Galleria Marchetti (one of our favorite Chicago venues) and we cannot wait to capture all the beauty of their big day!

Bonphotage Family Candid Moments

There’s nothing I love more than to capture candid moments between loved ones. When my long time friends Brian and Arnicia Harris asked me to capture their adorable family, I didn't think twice. When the Harris family arrived at the Bonphotage Studio, I was greeted by the sweetest of smiles from their entire family. Here are just a few of my favorite moments from their candid family portrait session!

Bonphotage Chicago Pet and Family Photography

The only thing better than an adorable dog is four of them. Pinch me because I couldn’t ask for a better job. The sun was still shining in California when I met up with Mary and her *beyond cute* gang of golden retrievers and a maltese, Mickey, Layla, Hurley and Gunther. We had a great time bribing the pups with treats in exchange for a sweet smile. I adore so many of their images from their family and pet photography session. Here are just a few of my favorites - enjoy!

There is no replacement for a natural smile and a candid, happy moment. The Bavelis boys made it so easy to capture those authentic shots. After meeting at the Bonphotage studio and playing with balloons and Christmas tree ornaments, Theo, Joanne, their two adorable boys and I headed over to Olive park. The children took turns jumping from one step to the next and giving each other sweet hugs for the camera in between. This family was just such a joy to have in front of my lens. Here are just a few of my favorites from their session. Enjoy.

Mark's Jungle-themed First Birthday Party

Happy Monday! What better way to start the week than with a jungle-themed first birthday party?! This sweet party for Mark's first birthday took place at La Mirage Restaurant, was designed by Yanni Design Studio and photographed by yours truly, Bonphotage. I loved all of the bright colors and adorable animal fur hats that the children took home with them. Every detail was accounted for, from animal themed cake pops to colorful gummy worms.

When Nita and Amish began their journey together, they could have never imagined that their union would result in such adorable, intelligent children. I met up with Amish, Nita and their two beautiful children on a beautiful, misty Chicago day. They had contacted me because they wanted holiday family photos in their favorite city. The day began in Streeterville at the Bonphotage Studio and included images at the iconic Olive Park and Parkview area.
