From the first time I spoke with Lindsay on the phone, I was super excited about capturing her wedding! Lindsay and Brian flew in from Manhattan to have their ceremony in Chicago, and more specifically, at St. Michael's in Old Town, where her mother and grandmother were also married. After the ceremony, the party moved to 19 East (one of our favorite Chicago venues!) where Food For Thought served international fare from all the countries around the world where the newlyweds have traveled. A wedding centered around travel with thoughtful details? My kind of wedding! The whole day was planned seamlessly by Marquette Events.

Sometimes I like to help pose my clients and then click the camera right at that split moment between poses when they relax and those genuine, natural smiles come out. Laura and Eric are OBVIOUSLY incredibly photogenic (#bonphotagebridesarethehottest) but I could tell these two were at their best when they were just being themselves, so candid was the goal...and...MAGIC!
SO many sweet smiles during this engagement shoot at the Art Institute in Chicago. I can't wait for these two to tie the knot next summer!
