I had the pleasure of meeting Selin and Phil almost two years ago when I met up with the at Chicago's Olive Park for their engagement session. I immediately liked these two - not only are they each impressive as individuals (at the time, Phil was attending Northwestern Law School and Selin was woking of her PhD thesis), but together, their kindness and tenderness towards each other was undeniable! Fast forward two years and I am catching a flight to Princeton, New Jersey, where Selin and Phil are tying the knot at an absolutely stunning venue! I could have never imagined how gorgeous their wedding would be...everything from the architectural detail, to the blooming wisteria to Selin's gorgeous peony bouquet, the day was straight out of a fairytale! These lovebirds wanted a casual engagement session which reflected the life they love so very much together. So causal is what they got...kinda. Turns out their Chicago condo has the most incredible sweeping Chicago views - so of course, we needed to take advantage of those VIEWS! This inspiration shoot at Chateau de Tourreau was designed to showcase all the beauty that comes alone with an intimate destination wedding in the Provencial French countryside. We are so thrilled to see this beautiful wedding featured on the White Wren!
As the day began the bride was able to take a few moments alone and soak in all the beauty of the chateau before stepping out onto the sun-drenched terrace to take in the view of the perfectly maintained grounds. The bride changed into a stunning, plunging-back gown and carried a breathtaking pink and white peony filled bouquet with accent of fresh fruit from Jardin de Provence. Once she was ready, she strolled down the grand staircase to meet her love.

As a photographer, it is always such a compliment when I am hired by another photographer! I knew Nina and Sean's engagement session would be amazing when she suggested a destination engagement shoot in San Francisco where her fiance Sean had been living for the past few months. Our first stop was the Palace of Fine Arts which is even more impressive in person than in photos! Nina's dress perfectly complimented the setting and these two were so full of chemistry, it made my job a breeze!
