Every detail was carefully thought out, from Erica’s sparkly Louboutin’s to her matching YSL bag, to the stunning florals from Divine Designs - it was all so dreamy! Layla and Imran planned the most amazing wedding! It started at Chicago’s finest luxury hotel, The London House Hotel and ended a few blocks away at the Chicago Cultural Center! The Cultural Center was designed in a neoclassical style over 100yrs ago and we are obsessed with every beautiful architectural detail, including the Tiffany & Co. dome ceiling.

One of my favorite photos from their day was during their ‘first look’ – Layla’s face holds so much emotion and happiness as she heads towards Imran, all in front of the beautiful Chicago River backdrop!

Big shoutout to City Girl Events for perfectly coordinating the day and Divine Deisgns for the beautiful florals!

Hard to believe another incredible wedding season has come to an end! 2018 blew us away, with 102 weddings, 120 engagements, 11 anniversaries and countless family sessions. We had the privilege of photographing weddings and engagements around the country and world and while we wish we could share every single wedding, we narrowed down to some of the most beautiful and memorable moments from our 2018 season. Just a few of the bucket list venues we got to shoot in were Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum, Rookery Building, Chicago History Museum, Haley Mansion, Fairmont Banff, Bayou Oaks Plantation, Blackstone Hotel, Drake Hotel, Claxton Farms, San Francisco Mint, Balboa Bay Beach Club and Chateau Cocomar. Rarely do you meet two people so beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. I had the pleasure of meeting Chelsea years ago when she modeled for an editorial I was shooting in LA and I was honored when she reached out about capturing her wedding at Chateau Cocomar!

We didn’t think twice about flying out to Houston for their fairytale wedding! Chelsea looked absolutely stunning in her Pallas Couture gown and every detail was carefully thought out, from her Tom Ford heels to matching YSL clutch. Surrounded by friends and family, Nick and Chelsea said “I do” before partying well into the night! Just look at that cake!!

Despite the inevitable stresses of a wedding day, his easy going duo stayed true to the real meaning of a wedding - marrying your best friend surrounded by the people you love most! Their beautiful day started at the Fourth Presbytarian church where we had the pleasure of taking couple portraits in one of the most beautiful courtyards in the city of Chicago! The duo then took the party to Osteria Via Stato restaurant where they danced the night away, including a memorable father/daughter dance to Mambo Number 5!
