We absolutely loved photographing Eunice & MJ’s stunning wedding at the historic Ebell of Los Angeles! Every detail was well thought out for their special day, from the artist drawing sketches of guests to the sparkly Jimmy Choo heels to the beautiful architectural details on the Ebell - it was a fairy tale day! Eunice looked stunning and you can tell from MJ’s expression during their first look that he felt the same way! Hard to believe another incredible wedding season has come to an end! 2018 blew us away, with 102 weddings, 120 engagements, 11 anniversaries and countless family sessions. You guys....ALL THE HEART EYES!!! My jaw dropped when I pulled up to the Bayou Oaks Plantation in New Orleans. The picturesque estate was straight out of a fairy tale! But the gorgeous setting was just the tip of the iceberg of Katie & Scott's DREAM wedding! Everything from Katie's stunning gown (which she helped hand-stitch!) to their beautifully choreographed first dance to the sweet moment when their daughter Kamala gave Katie away at the ceremony - it was the stuff dreams are made of! The masquerade-themed wedding included masks for the bridal party and all kinds of New Orleans special touches like French crepes and a crawfish boil! I literally squealed when these film scans landed in my inbox. Quite possibly the most beautiful wedding we've had the privilege of covering, Nicole + Tarik's special day was nothing short of a dream! The ceremony took place by the chapel steps at the historic Chateau Bouthonvilliers in the French Countryside. It had been raining in the morning but the skies opened up with the perfect amount of sun and light breeze right before they said "I do" (a film photographer's dream!) The flowers from Floresie were out of this world (see her bouquet!!) and we absolutely cannot forget Nicole's blush Lazaro dress which literally stopped me in my tracks! Every detail was accounted for, from the oval emerald stunning engagement ring, to the hand calligraphed vow books to the studded louboutins, and all of it was perfectly executed by Mayra from The Event House.

Brie and Jordan have that kind of love that radiates to everyone around them. Not only are they beautiful on the outside but they are two of the sweetest people I've had the pleasure of capturing. When Brie (who is also the talent behind Splendor of Eden!) reached out to me about photographing their five year anniversary in the Amalfi Coast, it was a no brainer! I had a fabulous time wandering around Ravello with these lovebirds, including some of the most spectacular locations in the world, Hotel Belmond Caruso and Villa Cimbrone!

I really try not to play favorites with our couples, but it was so hard not to love every moment we spent photographing Ashley and Brian's wedding in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Let's start with the absolutely stunning setting at the Park Vista Hotel, overlooking the vast Smoky Mountain National Park, on a perfectly sunny summer day. The view alone was enough to make us never want to leave. Add to that, a couple so in love, that they actually didn't need any guidance at all for posing - all of those incredibly intimate moments you see on this blog? Those are just them, being themselves (can anybody say "CHEMISTRY?!")
Their first look took place on the edge of a cliff where Brian took a moment to take in the scenery and reflect on his upcoming nuptials. When Ashley approached and he took a look at his beautiful bride, the tears began (for ALL of us!) It was impossible not to feel the incredible love between them! The day then continued with a ceremony overlooking the vast nature and an al-fresco dinner filled with so many laughs and love (and the cutest kiddos!)

I was shooting an editorial in Hawaii when I received a call from Katie Weir asking if I was available on May 6, 2017 to photograph her wedding in Nashville to her long time love, country music-recording artist, Josh Gracin. Those of you who know me and know I grew up in the high desert in Southern California where country music was all the rage, might understand why I had to double check that I had heard correctly. I grew up watching Josh's career begin on American Idol and then listening to his hits on the radio. Of course, my answer to Katie was "Heck Yes!"
Shortly after, Katie and Josh made the trek to Chicago with their *adorable* German Shepard to take their engagement photos. Katie looked stunning in an ombre red BCBG dress and glittery Jimmy Choo's and oh...her RING...*swoon*!
I can hardly wait for their big day and am so honored to have had the privilege to document their engagement (coming to a fab magazine soon!)

Nick and Hannah tied the knot on March 3, 2017 surrounded by their closest family and friends at the picturesque Arrowhead Golf Course! Their ceremony took place in the sunlit ballroom overlooking the golf course and pond. Pretty purple and white flowers were placed carefully along the aisle. Guests then dined before heartfelt speeches and dancing well into the night! We are honored to have photographed their special day!
