Bonphotage - Chicago Surprise Proposal - James + Kristin

I knew when James contacted me to capture the proposal he'd been planning to his love Kristin, that this one would be special. Not only had be purchased a *stunning* yellow diamond but he had also arranged to have his mother, Kristin's mother and Kristin's best friend surprise her after the proposal. You'd never know the weather was below 30 degrees based on the happy smiles on this newly engaged couple! After ice skating and stopping for hot chocolate, they headed to Milton Lee Olive Park where Kristin thought they were meeting with one of their friends. Much to her surprise (scroll down for *priceless* surprise face), James dropped to his knee and asked her to be his forever. Of course, she said YES!

Bonphotage Chicago Engagement Photography - Jackie + Barth

I had so much fun with Jackie + Barth during their engagement session at the beautiful Milton Lee Olive Park! The weather was perfect and the Chicago skyline backdrop was as gorgeous as ever (I never get sick of that view!) This adorable couple is tying the knot at the Drake Hotel (one of our favorite Chicago Hotels!) at the end of the year and we are so excited to capture their special day!

Bonphotage - Caitlin + Dennis - Intercontinental Hotel Chicago

Caitlin looked absolutely radiant as she walked down to the aisle to meet her soon-to-be husband Dennis! Caitlin was dressed in a lace, mermaid style, strapless gown while her bridesmaids wore navy blue gowns. Mother's of the bride and groom wore royal blue and purple and these rich jewel tones played across other details of the wedding as well, including the beautiful florals.

The couple was married surrounded by their family and friends in their hometown church. They then took a limo (where the party definitely began!) on the way to the Grand Ballroom at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Chicago. Tears were shed, laughs were had and dancing continued into the night!

Bonphotage - Surprise Chicago Proposal - Salman + Eliza!

When your client travels all the way from Canada to surprise his unsuspecting girlfriend with a proposal in front of the stunning Chicago skyline, of course you want to capture the moment!

Eliza thought she was going to Olive Park with her girlfriends to check out the Chicago skyline, but really, her fiancé had coordinated with her friends to have her arrive in the perfect location so he could surprise her and propose!

Her response was priceless! So happy to have captured these beautiful moments!
