Bonphotage - Congress Hotel Wedding Photography - Carolina + Jeff

Carolina and Jeff tied the knot yesterday in a luxurious, European-inspired grand ballroom at the Congress Hotel in downtown Chicago!

Carolina was a beautiful vision in her mermaid silhouette, lace wedding gown and gold sparkly heels. Her best ladies wore violet colored chiffon bridesmaids gowns in alternating styles. No detail was overlooked including the brides photo of her grandfather kept in a locket around her bouquet *tear*

At several points during their wedding, I actually had to hold in the emotion myself, including when she and her father both shed a tear during the father daughter dance and when the groom's brother told the most hilarious stories during the best man speech!

This sneak peek tells a small part of the romantic imagery and love that was at play throughout the day. It was an honor to capture your wedding Carolina and Jeff - thank you for letting Bonphotage be a part of your important day!

After over a month of carefully planning the perfect proposal, Eldho flew to Chicago from New York to propose to his sweetheart Simy with a *stunning* engagement ring! With the beautiful Chicago skyline as a backdrop, he dropped to his knee and asked Simy to be his forever. Your photoshoot was a breeze after that as this happy couple was all smiles!

September is my favorite month. The weather and *incredible* light during Dana and Shaun's Chicago engagement session reminded me why I am such a lover of Autumn. A perfect 75 degree day, with to-die-for golden hour light, and the chemistry between these two made for one of my favorite engagement shoots ever!

We are advocates for love. Plain and simple. And when I headed around town with Cat and Courtney for their Chicago engagement shoot, it was clear that real love is what I'd be capturing on their wedding day. Add to that the fact that their wedding was going to take place at the W Hotel with stunning views of Lake Michigan followed by the ceremony and reception on a yacht on Lake Michigan...umm count us in!

Cat wore a stunning strapless satin gown and Courtney rocked a modern, jumper from Kleinfelds. The ladies wore fabulous Bagdley Mischka heels and Cat carried a bouquet of ranunculus, roses, hydrangeas and dusty millers. The couple's adorable chihuahua Brighton was in attendance, as were a sweet flower girl and ring bearer.

The perfect evening ended in fireworks over Navy Pier, emotional and happy toasts and Cat even serenaded Courtney with a ballad she had sung to her early in their relationship! #cgcdlove for sure!

The weather and light couldn't have been more beautiful for their wedding day and the happiness and joy from their family and friends who traveled from across the country was truly one for the record books!

Dean was so sweet when he called and asked us to capture his proposal to his girlfriend of five years, Paige!

A true romantic, Dean did not skimp on a single detail..we're talking..taking Paige shopping on Michigan Avenue during the day and buying her a gorgeous dress and Valentino heels, privatizing the roof deck of the Peninsula hotel in downtown Chicago, hiring the unbelievably talented Kehoe designs (rose petals, moss wall - the real deal!) and then surprising his love with a STUNNING engagement ring!

The whole scene was something dreams are made of and we are honored to have captured their beautiful day!

Kristen and Eric wanted to take their engagement photos at some of their favorite Chicago landmarks, including Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park and the beautiful fountain at the Art Institute. Because these two are getting married in Palm Beach, Florida (amazing!), they wanted to take their engagement photos in Chicago to have memories of themselves in their hometown!

If Lauren's pretty face looks familiar, it's because you may have seen it recently on your television screen! As a sports broadcaster on WGN TV and an impressive resume to boot (including recently reporting for the Green Bay Packers!), I was honored when Lauren asked me to capture her wedding day to her long time love, Steve!

Aside from being ridiculously attractive, these two love the outdoors, extreme sports and Chicago! I am soo excited for their Morton Arboretum wedding next year and couldn't be happier for these two!

I think it would be fair to say that I have a bit of a photographer crush on this adorable couple! They made their job so easy during their Lincoln Park engagement session with their laughter and smiles! We had a great time strolling through the flowers in full bloom in Lincoln Park and then on to North Avenue beach! The weather couldn't have been more perfect!

I had the pleasure of photographing Ben's proposal to his love, Colleen and was honored to also capture their engagement photos!

Ben and Colleen's engagement session started at Lincoln Park's south bridge with gorgeous Chicago skyline views - a location very special to them where they often take walks. We then walked past the blooming flowers and stunning nature before heading to Lake Michigan and the area where Colleen and Ben playing beach volleyball.

Their whole engagement session was filled with thoughtful locations and love! I am so excited for this beautiful couple's wedding at the Hinsdale Country Club next summer!
