Can ALL weddings be in Italy pleaseeee?? I don’t even know where to begin with Ellie and Justin’s fairytale wedding in the Umbrian countryside of Italy. The weather was absolutely perfect and every enchanting corner of Castello di Rosciano was sensory heaven! Ellie and Justin treated their guests to a multi-day celebration in Italy but the wedding day was the cherry on top! Storybook Weddings planned every moment to perfection and we were lucky enough to be chosen to capture this extraordinary wedding. E & J thought through every detail, from the insane aperitif spread to the lavender toss! We did not waste anytime exploring the countryside and taking portraits in every picturesque location we could find! My personal favorite was the tree lined road which yelled ITALY in every beautiful sense of the word! Bonphotage Fine Art Destination Wedding Photography - Il Borro Tuscany, Italy - Andrew & Allison

We LOVE destination weddings and Andrew and Allison’s wedding shows why! Their Italian wedding day was such a fairytale! I was lucky enough to have spent some time at Il Borro and when Allison suggested she wanted to have a destination wedding in Italy, I knew it would be the perfect venue! Dating back to the 1200’s, this romantic fortress is set amongst rolling hills and everything wonderfully Tuscan - it was the most romantic setting for this long-time couple to make it official! There wedding was so intimate, with guests flying in from around the world to celebrate their love. There was so much love and emotion - we may have shed a few tears! Bonphotage California Fine Art Wedding Photography - Balboa Bay Resort - Newport Beach

I am so excited to share a sneak peek from Ali & Jordan's absolutely stunning wedding last weekend at Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach, California! Ali began her day surrounded by family friends at her family home to get ready. Her adorable pups joined the fun and plenty of fun champagne popping' photos were taken! Ali then met her love at the harbor for the most EPIC first look (just see his reaction when he saw his gorgeous bride for the first time!) The ceremony took place outdoors under a stunning green and white floral arch, adorned with a crystal chandelier. Bonphotage Fine Art New Orleans Wedding Photography - Bayou Oaks Plantation, New Orleans, LA - Katharin & Scott

You guys....ALL THE HEART EYES!!! My jaw dropped when I pulled up to the Bayou Oaks Plantation in New Orleans. The picturesque estate was straight out of a fairy tale! But the gorgeous setting was just the tip of the iceberg of Katie & Scott's DREAM wedding! Everything from Katie's stunning gown (which she helped hand-stitch!) to their beautifully choreographed first dance to the sweet moment when their daughter Kamala gave Katie away at the ceremony - it was the stuff dreams are made of! The masquerade-themed wedding included masks for the bridal party and all kinds of New Orleans special touches like French crepes and a crawfish boil! The party went well into the night and we just can't stop swooning over these images! Congrats you two and enjoy this sneak peek!

Bonphotage Fine Art Film Destination Wedding Photography - Chateau Bouthonvilliers France - Nicole + Tarik

I literally squealed when these film scans landed in my inbox. Quite possibly the most beautiful wedding we've had the privilege of covering, Nicole + Tarik's special day was nothing short of a dream! The ceremony took place by the chapel steps at the historic Chateau Bouthonvilliers in the French Countryside. It had been raining in the morning but the skies opened up with the perfect amount of sun and light breeze right before they said "I do" (a film photographer's dream!) The flowers from Floresie were out of this world (see her bouquet!!) and we absolutely cannot forget Nicole's blush Lazaro dress which literally stopped me in my tracks! Every detail was accounted for, from the oval emerald stunning engagement ring, to the hand calligraphed vow books to the studded louboutins, and all of it was perfectly executed by Mayra from The Event House.

Bonphotage Michigan Wedding Photography - Maheen + Adil

The biggest lesson I have learned as a wedding photographer is that humans are so much more alike than they are different. Every human, no matter race, religion, or ethnicity, wants to love and be loved. Every human wants to share special moments with family and loved ones. Having the honor of photographing beautiful weddings around the world of Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu and non-religious couples reconfirms these truths time and time again. I am blessed to witness the warmth of love and compassion between humans of all kinds on such an intimate and beautiful day - the wedding day.

I have photographed MANY weddings and have seen a lot of beautiful ceremonies and receptions, but there are very few that literally stop me in my tracks. As I entered Maheen and Adil's reception ballroom at the historic Dearborn Inn in Michigan, my jaw literally dropped. The elegant space was beautifully adorned with chiffon drapery and raised, enormous hydrangea floral arrangements. Cherry blossoms were beautifully placed between the florals.

No detail was spared - from the brides (two pairs) of Bagdley Mischka heels, to her jewelry which belonged to her grandmother, the day(s) were beyond stunning! One the first day of celebrations, the bride wore gold and ivory, with a gorgeous veil dreams are made of. On the second day, she wore ruby and gold and her happiness was contagious! The food was truly a cut-above and included a warm donut stand and desserts for days.

We are so blessed to capture the happiest day of people's lives and are so thankful to be graciously included by the family and friends of our lovely couples. Thank you Maheen and Adil for allowing us to capture your most precious and beautiful day! Enjoy this sneak peek!
