Sue and Hyun got ready at the Godfrey Hotel and rented the entire roof deck for their detail shots and first look (a film photographer's dream!) The ceremony took place under the beautiful ivy- covered archway in Galleria Marchetti's courtyard and then the party moved inside for the tented reception in all it's pink and white glory! The whole day was executed to perfection by Lola Events and no detail was overlooked. Megan started her day at the Public Hotel where Sonia Roselli Beauty beautifully applied makeup for her and her best girls. Laughs, champagne and CARTIER followed (yes, Megan was lucky enough to open the most stunning Cartier bracelet from her love!)
Kirin and Megan saw each other for the first time when she walked down the aisle at Gallery 1028. Megan looked absolutely radiant in her Sarah Seven gown! The party continued well into the night with dancing and fun for all!

Read MoreI really try not to play favorites with our couples, but it was so hard not to love every moment we spent photographing Ashley and Brian's wedding in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Let's start with the absolutely stunning setting at the Park Vista Hotel, overlooking the vast Smoky Mountain National Park, on a perfectly sunny summer day. The view alone was enough to make us never want to leave. Add to that, a couple so in love, that they actually didn't need any guidance at all for posing - all of those incredibly intimate moments you see on this blog? Those are just them, being themselves (can anybody say "CHEMISTRY?!")
Their first look took place on the edge of a cliff where Brian took a moment to take in the scenery and reflect on his upcoming nuptials. When Ashley approached and he took a look at his beautiful bride, the tears began (for ALL of us!) It was impossible not to feel the incredible love between them! The day then continued with a ceremony overlooking the vast nature and an al-fresco dinner filled with so many laughs and love (and the cutest kiddos!)

Starting with her gorgeous bouquet in bright colors, to the perfectly styled reception, not a single detail was forgotten! It was so important to A + J that their guests have a fun time and as an objective observer, I can say that was definitely the case! Guests dined at food stations serving delicious food and danced well into the night while a live band kept the atmosphere festive!

Read MoreAside from the cute umbrella photos, you'd never know it was a rainy day on Adrienne and Phil's wedding day. Adrienne looked stunning in her gown from Alice in Ivory and the violet and lilac bridesmaids dresses made for the most beautiful color scheme! The bridesmaids wore purple bracelets to match their dresses, gifted to them from the bride.
After leaving the Westin, the bridal party headed to Union Station for classic Chicago portraits. After a beautiful ceremony, the party continued to Lincoln Park's Cafe Brauer where lots of laughs and dancing kept on through the night!

Read MoreI was shooting an editorial in Hawaii when I received a call from Katie Weir asking if I was available on May 6, 2017 to photograph her wedding in Nashville to her long time love, country music-recording artist, Josh Gracin. Those of you who know me and know I grew up in the high desert in Southern California where country music was all the rage, might understand why I had to double check that I had heard correctly. I grew up watching Josh's career begin on American Idol and then listening to his hits on the radio. Of course, my answer to Katie was "Heck Yes!"
Shortly after, Katie and Josh made the trek to Chicago with their *adorable* German Shepard to take their engagement photos. Katie looked stunning in an ombre red BCBG dress and glittery Jimmy Choo's and oh...her RING...*swoon*!
I can hardly wait for their big day and am so honored to have had the privilege to document their engagement (coming to a fab magazine soon!)
