Our travel schedule at Bonphotage has been a little crazy this year but trust us, we are not mad at all. We have traveled far and wide this year to capture love, including to France, Italy, Hawaii and most recently, Puerto Rico! When Jennifer called us explaining that she wanted us to capture her romantic elopement at the gorgeous St. Regis Bahia Beach resort in Old San Juan, we were more than happy to oblige! We spent the day hitting the best spots in San Juan, including old cathedrals, historic landmarks, pastel colored buildings on the water and other dreamy locations - and this magic (on film!) is what resulted! Brie and Jordan have that kind of love that radiates to everyone around them. Not only are they beautiful on the outside but they are two of the sweetest people I've had the pleasure of capturing. Some weddings just leave you speechless. The emotion, the love, the happy tears...Megan and Kiril's wedding was one of those. The whole day was executed to perfection by Lola Events and no detail was overlooked. Megan started her day at the Public Hotel where Sonia Roselli Beauty beautifully applied makeup for her and her best girls. Laughs, champagne and CARTIER followed (yes, Megan was lucky enough to open the most stunning Cartier bracelet from her love!)
Kirin and Megan saw each other for the first time when she walked down the aisle at Gallery 1028. Megan looked absolutely radiant in her Sarah Seven gown! The party continued well into the night with dancing and fun for all!

I really try not to play favorites with our couples, but it was so hard not to love every moment we spent photographing Ashley and Brian's wedding in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Let's start with the absolutely stunning setting at the Park Vista Hotel, overlooking the vast Smoky Mountain National Park, on a perfectly sunny summer day. The view alone was enough to make us never want to leave. Add to that, a couple so in love, that they actually didn't need any guidance at all for posing - all of those incredibly intimate moments you see on this blog? Those are just them, being themselves (can anybody say "CHEMISTRY?!")
Their first look took place on the edge of a cliff where Brian took a moment to take in the scenery and reflect on his upcoming nuptials. When Ashley approached and he took a look at his beautiful bride, the tears began (for ALL of us!) It was impossible not to feel the incredible love between them! The day then continued with a ceremony overlooking the vast nature and an al-fresco dinner filled with so many laughs and love (and the cutest kiddos!)

Amanda and Jason's modern wedding at the Ravenswood Event Center was one for the record books! Starting with her gorgeous bouquet in bright colors, to the perfectly styled reception, not a single detail was forgotten! It was so important to A + J that their guests have a fun time and as an objective observer, I can say that was definitely the case! Guests dined at food stations serving delicious food and danced well into the night while a live band kept the atmosphere festive!

Aside from the cute umbrella photos, you'd never know it was a rainy day on Adrienne and Phil's wedding day. Adrienne looked stunning in her gown from Alice in Ivory and the violet and lilac bridesmaids dresses made for the most beautiful color scheme! The bridesmaids wore purple bracelets to match their dresses, gifted to them from the bride.
After leaving the Westin, the bridal party headed to Union Station for classic Chicago portraits. After a beautiful ceremony, the party continued to Lincoln Park's Cafe Brauer where lots of laughs and dancing kept on through the night!

When Krishan called me sounding so excited about proposing to his love Nikita, I knew this was going to be an epic surprise! Krishan carefully thought out all of the details about where he wanted to propose with a stunning skyline background and then came all the way from Oklahoma to Chicago to make it happen! I am so excited to share these images featured in Glamour and Grace!
When you can get your hands on a hand-sewn Emily Riggs gown, of course you want to photograph it like crazy! In this shoot, photographed on film, I wanted to contrast the delicate lace and soft blush romantic color of the gown to show how beautifully it could look in a minimal setting or in an urban, city sprawl. This shoot took place inside and outside of the hip Virgin Hotel in downtown Chicago.
Rachel Keppeler Designs provided geode inspired jewelry pieces to complement the pastel tones in the dress and Appease to you made Bella glow with an upswept look and natural make-up. For florals, we stuck to Pantone's color of the year, greenery with our own natural take of whisky eucalyptus and succulents.
