As the day began the bride was able to take a few moments alone and soak in all the beauty of the chateau before stepping out onto the sun-drenched terrace to take in the view of the perfectly maintained grounds. The bride changed into a stunning, plunging-back gown and carried a breathtaking pink and white peony filled bouquet with accent of fresh fruit from Jardin de Provence. Once she was ready, she strolled down the grand staircase to meet her love.

We had a fabulous time photographing all of her beautiful details, including the gorgeous blue and green bouquet from Vale of Enna! Lots of laughs were had before heading to St. Michaels Church in Old Town where Cameron and Michael said "I do" in a traditional ceremony surrounded by their loved ones. You guys....ALL THE HEART EYES!!! My jaw dropped when I pulled up to the Bayou Oaks Plantation in New Orleans. The picturesque estate was straight out of a fairy tale! But the gorgeous setting was just the tip of the iceberg of Katie & Scott's DREAM wedding! Everything from Katie's stunning gown (which she helped hand-stitch!) to their beautifully choreographed first dance to the sweet moment when their daughter Kamala gave Katie away at the ceremony - it was the stuff dreams are made of! The masquerade-themed wedding included masks for the bridal party and all kinds of New Orleans special touches like French crepes and a crawfish boil! While we LOVE our real weddings, there is something to be said for feeding your creativity and playing with lighting and texture. When Flowers for Dreams asked us to capture a vibrant, colorful editorial for the main feature in One Fourth Magazine, it was a no-brainer!
The concept was brilliantly created by Unadorned Magazine and took place at Architectural Artifacts in Chicago's trendy West Loop. Pineapples and citrus adorned the gold cart and vintage couch from Bowery and Bash. We played with shooting film in the dark, lighting techniques and enough florals to keep us swooning for weeks after!

This stunning couple flew from their home in New York City to the bride's hometown of Dallas, Texas to tie the knot and we couldn't be happier to have been a part of it! This couple was surrounded by so much love all day and their ceremony was just about the sweetest we've ever seen. The sun starting to set behind them as they exchanged vows was just the icing on the cake! Guests smiled, laughed, enjoyed some real Texas bbq under beautiful strands of twinkle lights hung from the ceiling at historic Winfrey Point. The couple had a pubic first dance in front of their loved ones and ended with the night with their own private last dance. A perfect end to a perfect evening!
